The area of consideration is Stuttgart, Germany U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than the host nation and possess a valid green card and US Social Security Number (SSN).
Duties
- Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures.
- Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments.
- Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.
- Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation to include childcare checks.
- This position may require a health screening due to the lifting requirement of 45 lbs. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry.
2. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
