Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. to include a medical examination.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and background check is required
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist
- Must be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the organization's needs.
- Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment.
- Willing to accept an Intermittent, or "Flexible", appointment.
- Appointment is subject to favorable suitability determination.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position, such as, assisting in setting up and publicizing special events and sport tournaments, assist to deliver posters, flyers, and other promotional materials, and assisting customers.
2. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
1. One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry.
2. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
