To qualify for a Sports Specialist (Athletic Operations & Equipment Manager), you must have:
- At least 1 sports season of experience in athletic operations or 1 sports season of experience as an equipment manager or 1 academic year of teaching in a classroom environment.
Highly Desirable:
- Athletic operations or equipment manager experience related to football or lacrosse.
- Athletic operations or equipment manager experience at the collegiate level.
- Experience related to purchasing equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
- Experience tracking equipment or uniform inventory.
- Be willing to work weekday evenings and weekends.
- Highly motivated and experienced professionals possessing integrity, stamina, and ingenuity, and be capable of adjusting to various work environments, physical demands, and schedules.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
