Staff Neurology Physician

Join our dedicated team in the Neurology Department, part of the Specialty Medicine service line, where you'll be empowered to deliver high-quality care to patients. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Staff Neurology Physician who is committed to maintaining professional and technical competencies to provide effective healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Efficiently address medical issues, attend clinics punctually, and work within your medical privileges.
  • Medical/Clinical Knowledge: Stay current with board certification and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Practice-Based Learning & Improvement: Involve yourself in departmental activities and continuously incorporate medical advances into your practice.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Ensure precise and appropriate electronic medical record entries and provide expert consultative evaluations.
  • Professionalism: Maintain courteous conduct and participate in peer reviews and committees.
  • Systems-Based Practice: Comply with various policies and ensure clinical coverage during your absences.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship or appropriate eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Degree in Medicine (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completed residency training and board eligibility in Neurology.
  • Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
  • Adherence to all VA policy, including drug testing and vaccination requirements.
