Summary

VALOR is a program that provides opportunities for outstanding students in nursing who have completed their final semester or quarter of their junior year of the baccalaureate program to develop competencies while at VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS); an approved VA health care facility. Opportunities include didactic and classroom experiences, competency-based clinical practice with a qualified preceptor, and participation in specialty focused clinical conferences.
