Work alongside professionals from various disciplines and help modernize the National Airspace System (NAS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the test and evaluation of computer science methods and techniques in the NAS.
  • Assist in software system development using your academic knowledge in computer science.
  • Document functional and security requirements and help identify system bugs.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to leverage your creative ideas and theoretical knowledge.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Currently enrolled at least half-time in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in computer science or a related field.
  • Must have completed at least one full academic year of post-high school study.
  • Enrollment must include coursework in computer science, mathematics, and statistics.
  • Transcript submission is mandatory to verify qualifications.

Program Details

  • This is part of the Gateways Internship Program; participation may lead to a permanent position.
  • Requires signing a written internship agreement detailing expectations and responsibilities.
