To qualify for a Supervisory Budget Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Analyzing and evaluating the effects of continuing changes in strategic direction and financial resource levels in order to evaluate and recommend optimal resources strategies to accomplish an organizations mission.
- Collecting and analyzing requests for resources against strategic goals to build a defensible program and budget request.
- Maintaining a system funds control and distribution for an organization, to include congressionally appropriated resources and reimbursable customer orders.
- Analyzing execution against appropriated levels and develop recommendations to reprogram funds to maximize resource execution.
- Presenting sensitive recommendations and briefings to the Senior Leaders, on short and long term issues.
