Duties

Serves in full capacity as a Compliance Manager (Compliance Office Director) with responsibility for directing the review and evaluation of reinsured company and agency sales and service contractor operations and activities
Ensures compliance and uniformity in sales and loss adjustment policies, underwriting, procedures, training and quality control methods and requirements, and oversight for all service and operational program facts of the crop insurance program.
Responsible for the coordination of nationwide company and program reviews as assigned by the Deputy Administrator for Compliance.

Qualifications

Time-in-Grade Requirement: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. For the GS-14 level:
At least one full-time year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal Service or private sector equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as developing, implementing, managing and coordinating a nationwide compliance program; independently performing complex investigative assignments for agricultural insurance or reinsurance programs; and planning, conducting and reporting on compliance reviews and investigations.
