Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as having the following:
You MUST meet (4) of the (4) specialized experience requirements to qualify:
1.) Experience directly supervising health and fitness professionals in a specialized health facility environment.
2.) Experience maintaining the operating budget and managing financial accounts supported by membership dues and annual appropriations.
3.) Experience designing and developing exercise and wellness programs for people of diverse needs and high-level executives.
4.) Experience establishing new and maintaining individual membership accounts utilizing electronic and hard copy records, tracking memberships monthly billing client accounts and canceling memberships.
Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

5.) Experience working with relevant stakeholders to plan and implement facility improvements.
