To qualify for a Supervisory Industrial Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support A and B:
A. Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) Requirement: four (4) years of acquisition experience.
B. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Experience leading a much-functional teams or group of people that manages contracts.
- Applying manufacturing policies, regulations and techniques to support the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions enterprise.
- Leading or providing oversight to personnel performing engineering & manufacturing operations in support of critical/complex programs and contracts; managing the evaluation of contractors, subcontractors, engineering & manufacturing processes, efforts, and products in accordance with contract terms and conditions and to influence behaviors to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conveying complex information through formal and informal briefings/presentations for diverse audiences.
