Qualification Requirements:
1. Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
OR
2. One (1) year specialized system installation and programming experience sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in:
- IT theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods.
- IT policy and planning concepts and practices.
- Interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines.
- Methods, approaches, and practices for managing communities of interest involved in development and implementation of IT architectures, investment planning, e-government, and other IT related legislative and policy initiatives.
The experience and education must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.
HIGHLY PREFERRED are applicants who possess the minimum qualifications above AND all of the following:
1. Previous work experience administering DoD computer systems/networks
2. Possession of the following certifications:
(a) the most applicable Computing Environment (CE) certificates of training
AND
(b) a minimum Information Assurance baseline security certification of Security+ equivalent (or higher certification)
The experience/certification must be reflected on your resume and your certification uploaded at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
