Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions,
Information Technology Management (Alternative A).
In this position you will serve as the Supervisor and Flight Chief managing Knowledge Operation flight functions and programs to include FOIA/Privacy Act, Records Management, Publications and Forms, Web Applications and Enterprise Information Services, VTC Services and other assigned duties in support of the 66th Communications and Information Division's mission.
Education requirements: A four-year bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, engineering, math, science or information management. In lieu of education, four years of information technology, management or supervisory work experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure: Technical certification in related field is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over government subordinates and oversees contracted functions.
- Plans, organizes, and directs cyber, IT, or information/knowledge management activities. Helps design, develop and manage systems to improve business processes.
- Leads multiple discipline teams, represents organization with higher level of management, prepares and presents briefings, helps solve organizational problems.
- Serves as senior technical advisor of cyber, IT or IM related activities under area of responsibility. Supports IT asset and services procurement and manage lifecycle of IT assets including advocacy for funding.
