Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to perform logistical management services that involve planning, coordinating, and/or evaluating logistical actions. This work includes (1) identifying the specific requirements for money, personnel, material, equipment, facilities, and other provisions needed to support the program and (2) correlating those requirements with program plans to ensure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.
Duties performed:
- Planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Law Enforcement Operations Division (LEOD), Law Enforcement Logistics Branch, ensuring that law enforcement and logistical services complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules.
- Managing how resources/supplies are acquired, stored, and transported via contract shippers and/or other modes of delivery, which includes warehousing of equipment and inventory management and movement, storage, and maintenance of equipment for enforcement operations.
- Supporting the management of the nationwide FPS' processes for receiving information and reports from a wide range of sources, recording, and reporting such information and ensuring that all actionable information is provided to those in the best position to protect Federal facilities and those working and visiting those facilities.
- identifing risks and advises on how to avoid or address them by conducting activities designed to ensure that critical information related to facility security is managed effectively and in compliance with agency policy and best practices.

Youn will be evaluated based on your responses to application questionnaire items focused on critical technical competencies and a structured resume review. Structured Resume Review: Subject matter experts (SMEs) will review your resume to determine your technical qualifications for this position based on the required specialized experience. SMEs will review ONLY the first five (5) pages of your resume. SMEs will not review additional information beyond your resume (e.g., cover letter, links embedded in your resume). Applicants passing the SME review will move on to the next phase of the assessment process.
Based on your responses, you will receive a score from the Assessment Questionnaire. Those applicants who score the highest will be referred to the hiring manager and may be called for an interview. Failure to complete the interview may result in removal from further consideration.
Consideration will be given to performance appraisals and incentive awards as an indicator of quality of prior experience; no points will be assigned.
