About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort Cavazos, TX.

Duties

  • Develop and disseminate internal policy and operating procedures.
  • Evaluate the organization's needs for resources, facilities, personnel, supplies, etc. and ensures that necessary support is available.
  • Developing and managing installation maintenance program.
  • Formulating long- and short-term plans to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned missions.
  • Develop and publish local regulations, guidelines, and other instruction pertaining to the Installation Maintenance Management Office (IMMO) function.
  • Provide work assignments and reviews/spot checks work in progress or upon completion, as appropriate.
  • Supervises a subordinate workforce through HR practices.
  • Interacts with Garrison Directorates to correct any perceived or actual maintenance issues involving support provided prior to elevating to the Division Chief.
  • Manages the MMIS program.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as ensuring maintenance management for all commercial and tactical equipment meet equipment serviceability readiness standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
