Selective Placement Factor (SPF): Experience reviewing and assessing grant proposals for a national research program within a healthcare organization
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 year of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE at the next lower grade level (GS 13) in Federal Service that includes performing the following duties: Leads and supports implementation of a national strategic plan.; Participates in the management of current and future research projects annually.; Speaks frequently in various public settings on the goals and activities.; Supervises all staff members.; Interviews and selects candidates for subordinate positions.; Designs, develops, and implements targeted practices to enhance rural access to care.

IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.

Physical Requirements:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform portions of the work. However, there is periodic walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as medical records, instructional material, books and material, book and manuals. Physical demands related to frequent travel under normal travel conditions may include jetlag and increased walking depending on the location and circumstances. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
