Summary

This position is located within the Operations Branch of the Equal Employment Programs Division in Alexandria, Virginia.

Duties

  • Provide expert analytical, evaluative, and consultative services to Divison leaders on a wide range of organizational, structural, process, and resource issues.
  • Map and analyze complex organizational structures and processes in order to identify potential improvements to business processes.
  • Ensure effectiveness of office records systems, including mail management, docketing, and reporting.
  • Develop approaches and procedures to integrate and modify processes and help staff members solve operational problems.
  • Conduct new employee orientation.
  • Serve as Billing Official responsible for the management of the micro-purchase program and oversight of up to seven government purchase card holders.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing Equal Employment Opportunity administrative support systems, supervision of subordinates, and evaluating organizational efficiency.
