You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one the following:
Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Determining the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for entry or retention in sensitive, non-sensitive positions and/or public trust positions
- Reviewing security paperwork and database checks for completeness, accuracy, and issue resolution
- Making preliminary risked-based determinations that would allow applicants to Entry on Duty while the full background investigation is ongoing
- Managing tracking systems and processes for monitoring individual background investigation caseloads
