About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position will serve as a Supervisory Police Officer performing law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights, detect and investigate crimes, apprehend violators, and perform patrols within the jurisdiction of the military installation. This position is located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience reviewing and preparing accurate and concise police reports containing all pertinent information and the ability to follow established guidelines for format; experience with knowledge of report formats, procedures and basic grammar for finalizing accurate reports; experience with procedures related to the search and seizure of evidence and contraband and the securing of a crime scene and experience must have provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
