This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 12 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS grade 13 step 10 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03, Supervisory Prevention Specialist (Prevention Lead) (Prev WF) is $99,200 to $153,354 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.

Basic Requirement:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
AND
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1.) Developing comprehensive prevention plans for the prevention of harmful behaviors; 2.) Advising and educating leaders on primary prevention activities; 3.) Analyzing data and processes of harmful behavior contributing factors; 4.) Identifying risk factors and developing protective factors.
