Conditions of employment
- Approximately 25% travel may be required. Travel may involve local, remote and or overnight.
- Selectees must sign an AAC written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least three years.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of
employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Advanced (formerly Level III): This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
- This position is designated as a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). The incumbent will be required to sign a Tenure Agreement which requires the incumbent to remain in this position for a minimum of 3 years.
- Incumbent may be required to complete a one year probationary period.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for Supervisory Program Manager NH-0340-04:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Manage the acquisition of a portfolio of medical information systems, devices, pharmaceuticals, or other medical products; (2) Develop long and short-term financial plans for an acquisition-based program; AND (3) Advise executive leadership on Acquisition policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03).

**This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce position. The employee must meet the DODI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification assigned on the sequenced position Conditions of Employment data filed in the header of the PD/PRD.
