To qualify at the SV-I pay band (equivalent to GS-13 grade level): you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-H/GS-12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is defined as:
- Ensuring and tracking the information in the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) are accurate and in compliance with regulations.
- Managing travel agency reporting requirements for three separate agencies in the FAM program.
- Processing SABRE LNIATA (terminal line address) ordering/assignments and reconciliation for agency use of SABRE Red product.
- Conducting research into potential problems to determine cause and find best approach for immediate resolution.
- Supervising and managing the reservation travel system to ensure that data are completed in accordance with Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC).
- Leading a team and/or fostering collaboration, assigning and evaluating work among team members.
Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
