Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para 2 to include a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
- The Crime Control Act must be successfully completed and maintained.
- Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations in accordance with current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- Satisfactory performance, successful completion of training requirements and demonstrated on the job competency is required. Travel to on and off post locations required.

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
These Full-Time and Part-Time positions are for various facilities serving children 6 wks to 18 yrs of age.
Eligible candidates that apply on or before November 4th will be sent first for consideration.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
(QUAL 1) Successful completion of a bachelor's degree or higher that included or was supplemented by major study (at least 24 semester hours) in the fields appropriate to the position consistent with: Education must have been directly related to the position to be filled (general psychology/sociology/counseling courses are not qualifying).
-For positions in Child Development Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science.
-For positions in Youth Facilities: The education must have been in youth development, youth administration, education, home economics, physical education, elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science. For positions in School-Age facilities, the education must have been in any of the fields above.
-For School Age Facilities - The education must have been in any of the fields above.
OR
(QUAL 2) A combination of education and experience - courses equivalent to a major in a subject matter field (24 semester hours) appropriate to the position (see above), plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four-year course of study described above.
In addition to meeting one of the requirements above (QUAL 1 or QUAL 2), all candidates must also possess all of the following:
1. Experience supervising or leading caregivers within child/youth facility-based programs.
2. Experience managing a classroom setting within child and youth programs.
3. Experience implementing and overseeing a structured child and youth program curriculum.
4. Demonstrated verbal communication skills gained through conducting training, delivering presentations, conducting meetings with parents and/or staff, or similar.
Highly qualified candidates will submit resumes reflecting at least 1 year experience with Child & Youth Services. Applicants that possess the highly qualified criteria may be sent first for consideration. Additional certificates will be sent at management request.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
