- Must have knowledge of wide range of recreation and sports activities, organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities.
- Must have basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding for supplies and equipment.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English).
- Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.*

- Possess at least one (1) year experience supervising NAF and/or APF employees.
- Possess at least two (2) years of experience with application of internal controls.
- Possess at least (2) years of experience with RecTrac POS.
- Possess a current Wilderness First Responder Certification.
- Possess experience facilitating outdoor adventure programming in cold weather climates.
