Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- knowledge of a wide range of recreation and sports activities organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities, AND
- a basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding of supplies and equipment, AND
- the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English), AND
- work experience or education directly relating to the duties to be performed.

Education
If using education to support the minimum qualification of "education directly relating to the duties of a Supervisory Recreation Specialist" then transcripts showing courses completed MUST be provided at the time of application. Area of Consideration
This job is open to U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who meet these requirements:
- You must live within 100 miles of Fort Drum, NY., AND
- If you are a Non-U.S. National, you must have lived in the U.S. or a U.S. Territory for at least three years in a row right before starting this job. Note: Overseas military installations are not considered U.S. territories.
Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

Allowances and Differentials
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Night differential and Sunday Premium Pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander for Non-Bargaining NF positions and will not be paid to any Non-Bargaining NF employees.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
