Duties
As a Supervisory Security Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
- Managing or directly supporting various security functions (personnel, information, physical, industrial and emergency management.)
- Evaluating and recommending measures designed to safeguard personnel to prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities, material, and documents; and to safeguard them against espionage, sabotage, damage, and theft.
- Providing guidance to senior management officials and interpreting regulations which impact Departmental organizations.
- Conferring with, assisting, and advising bureau management and other senior Departmental staff members on security precedents, planning and policy development.
- Managing all aspects of the Foreign Visitor Access Program.
This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Supervisory Security Specialist ZA-0080-4 (FPL:04) positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

How You Will Be Evaluated
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
