Job Summary
Join our team as a Supervisory Social Worker with the Veterans Health Administration, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our veterans. This unique opportunity includes eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), offering potential student loan repayment. The amount and period will be determined after review, with awards up to $200,000.
Job Duties
- Lead the seamless integration of the M2VA Program with all inpatient and outpatient medical programs.
- Collaborate with various disciplines including nursing, psychology, and others to ensure comprehensive care for Post-9/11 veterans.
- Manage day-to-day operations and staff supervision within the CCICM model of care.
- Identify unmet needs of Post-9/11 veterans and develop solutions with local and national partners.
- Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments and provide tailored interventions for veterans.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30. Telework opportunities are available.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school.
- Advanced practice level licensure or certification, with the ability to supervise for licensure.
- Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
- One year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, with skills in managing teams and solving complex organizational challenges.
