Summary

Duties

  • Maintains property accountability records.
  • Physically inventories property at periodic intervals. Prepares inventory adjustments as appropriate.
  • Reviews and edits requisitions, assures data is correct.
  • Prepares a variety of purchase request requiring knowledge of Army procurement regulation.
  • Establishes and maintain files related to the procurement process.
  • Lift and carries light-to-medium weight items and objects, such as packages, cartons, boxes and tools, and places them in specified locations using a hand truck if necessary.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Successfully complete a health screening. Immunizations required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to qualify and obtain a military operator's license
  • Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.
  • Positions required to drive a motor vehicle may be subject to mandatory drug testing.

Qualifications

1) Demonstrated work experience performing the following duties:
  • Oversight of stock maintenance
  • Adjusting stock levels and reordering points using prescribed procedures
  • Conducting physical inventories and adjusting and/or maintaining inventory, stock, or property account records.
  • Initiating, preparing, editing, and processing requests to maintain stock.

2) Basic Typing Skills
3) Knowledge of computer systems and personal computers to perform automated functions associated with the duties of supply.


Highly Desirable Criteria

Highly desirable applicants will have prior work experience maintaining stock and inventory in the food and beverage industry.

Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay.
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) will not be paid for this position.
