WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E6/SSG - E8/MSG), Warrant Officer (W/1WO1 - W2/CW2) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Member (E6/SSG - E8/MSG), Warrant Officer (W/1WO1 - W2/CW2) regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period.
Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E6/SSG - E8/MSG), Warrant Officer (W/1WO1 - W2/CW2)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and managing all command supply and services functions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the GS-9 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Experience planning, organizing and managing supply and services functions to include command supply and storage, and command equipment property accountability management.
- Experience advising the DOL on command supply and services status and recommends support required for current and proposed operations.
- Experience maintaining current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency.
- Experience receiving fiscal information from each subordinate function to prepare and review budget estimates for the command supply and services functions.
