WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E4/SPC - E6/SSG) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Member (E4/SPC - E6/SSG), regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period.
GROUP III - Individuals eligible for membership in the Virginia Army National Guard.
Military Rank- Enlisted Member (E4/SPC - E6/SSG)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience providing storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 9 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-6 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Experience performing routine and nonroutine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.
- Experience with planning requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs.
- Experience authorizing procurement and being responsible for funds management.
- Experience developing and installing local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations.
