Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Advising service members and family members on Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and employment services; 2) Facilitating the TAP and employment supportive programs, to include the Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) and services and providing support to installation, and regional TAP and employment initiatives, and promoting family readiness; 3) Facilitating training courses and explaining course materials and their relevance and applicability to service members and their families; 4) Advising separated service members and their families on veterans' benefits to include medical, educational, employment, and finances.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. This position is designated Non-Critical Sensitive. Incumbents are required to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.
2. This position may include worldwide travel, requiring the incumbent to obtain applicable vaccinations per DoD requirements.
3. This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain an official passport.
4. This position requires routine on-site access to government facilities. The incumbent may perform required tasks at an off-site location for situational telework only.
5. This position requires the incumbent to have a valid, state issued driver's license to travel to FFSC TAP/FERP sites for effectiveness assessments and to participate in employment events, as needed.
6. This position requires working planned and/or unscheduled overtime to meet work requirements.
