Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of
specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1
) Advising service members and family members on Transition Assistance Program and employment services;
2) Facilitating training courses and explaining course materials and their relevance and applicability to service members and families;
3) Advising separated service members and families on veterans' benefits to include medical, educational, employment, and finances;
4) Coordinating with TAP interagency partners and vetted non-federal entities on TAP and employment related events, seminars, and webinars to help military members and civilian employees resolve issues.
