There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) TARGET SYSTEM WORKER (MVO) ~ without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common tasks including troubleshooting, inspecting, and/or repairing target mechanism systems. Troubleshoot and/or repair electrical pop-up target mechanisms. Assist range personnel with inspecting, maintaining or serving computer systems, equipment or applications used in range operations. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- PHYSICAL EFFORTS: Work requires inspection of field sites, necessitating walking, standing and climbing. Incumbent must be able to pick up and carry 45 pounds and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in all kinds of weather in an outdoor environment; however, some work is performed in an office environment. Some work is performed at range sites where the exposures to hazardous materials or instruments exist.
