Summary

You will serve as a TITLE TEN RESOURCE ANALYST in the Security Cooperation Division, Strategic Planning and Policy Directorate of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

  • You will coordinate, plan, develop, and evaluate security cooperation activities for USINDOPACOM and subordinate commands.
  • You will make recommendations to resolve shortfalls and expedite funds transfer in support of security cooperation activities conducted under Title 10 authorities.
  • You will coordinate with HQ staff directorates for vetting project proposals for alignment with Theater Security Cooperation Plan objectives.
  • You will monitor and track funding documents to ensure funding is accepted and obligated, services rendered and payment certified and processed timely and correctly.
  • You will track funding distributions, monitor executions, and provide obligation/execution reports as required.
  • You will manage inputs and security cooperation proposals made via the Overseas Humanitarian Assistance Shared Information System (OHASIS).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating, planning, and evaluating security cooperation activities for an organization.

Examples of specialized experience include the following:
1) Making recommendations to resolve shortfalls within security cooperation activities;
2) Gathering and analyzing facts in order to provide written justification to leadership to support security cooperation program initiatives;
3) Preparing, justifying, and/or administering budgets for security cooperation initiatives;
4) Monitoring and tracking funding documents to ensure funding is accepted and obligated;
5) Updating spending plans to properly distribute funding to ensure projects are properly prioritized;
AND
6) Utilizing information systems such as Overseas Humanitarian Assistance Shared Information Systems (OHASIS) or a similar Shared Information System to manage inputs and security cooperation proposals.
