Duties

The United States Space Force (USSF) at the Pentagon is searching for a TMT Workflow Manager for the COO (NH-0343-03, GS-12/13 Equivalent).

Description:
Come serve at the top echelons of the Space Force Headquarters in the Pentagon working in a fast paced, high visibility position for the 3-Star Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations, Cyber, & Nuclear Deterrence (COO) as a Program Management Analyst (Task Management Tool Workflow Manager).

This position is located within the Office of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), United States Space Force. As the Management and Program Analyst, this position provides expertise and technical support in the processing and management of ETMS2. Incumbent will oversee a team of two contractors, interact with senior leaders from within COO and manage the flow of information as it relates to all ETMS2 taskers. This position requires the ability to work independently on tasks and provide workflow management and records management expertise for Headquarters, United States Space Force. Incumbent will also manage quarterly all hands meetings, as well as orientation for new members to COO.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and experience using ETMS2 and providing expert support in the processing and management of correspondence, records management, and business practices for a government agency.


Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of basic theories and principles of systems design, specifications development techniques; and an understanding of acquisition and maintenance requirements as well as organizational functions involved in logistical support.
2. Knowledge of theories and principles of lntegrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution.
3. Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition.
4. Knowledge of contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements.
5. Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use.
6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for the position.
  • This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days a pay period.
  • Resumes are to be limited to no more than 5 pages. Position will be closed after 5 business days or after 75 applications are received.
  • May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • PCS Incentives are not authorized.
  • Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): 14 days per year.
  • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use
