Compatible Military Assignments: ENL 91 series: 25B, 36B, 51C, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92G, 92Y
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of and understanding of administrative, professional, analytical, or other work relating to traffic or transportation programs or operations. Must be skilled in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience, education, or training, involving the movement of freight or passengers and determining transportation and operating costs. Experience participating in the direction and coordination of traffic management functions. Experience interpreting and providing routine advice on carrier tariffs and related routing guides. Interpreting regulations/requirements and developing local policies to implement changes effectively. Experience applying applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedures. Experience preparing reports and recommendations involving appeals, special permits, adjustments in rates and charges. Experience which involved negotiations with carriers on individual shipments or traffic movement. Experience in making effective presentations both orally and in writing.

Indiana National Guard (INNG) Federal Technicians will wait 18 months after being selected for a new position before applying for another position within the INNG. If you received a promotion, reassignment, or grade reduction through a USAJobs announcement within the last 18 months, you will need an ETP memo.

The memorandum will be written by you, the employee, and signed by your supervisory chain up to the Director level. Directors and Supervisors will submit the signed memorandum for final review to the HRO Staffing inbox: ng.in.inarng.mbx.hro-staffing-section@army.mil
The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is the final approval for all ETP waivers. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.
