Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Teaching or instructing small arms safety and marksmanship in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment using various training aids, devices, and evaluation processes; 2) Developing skills and training with small arms and procedures associated with competition in arms, including experience in small arms instruction, marksmanship training material, including all facets of administering a small arms competition program; 3) Implementing Navy and DoD security measures, publications, and other material relevant to small arms, magazines, armories, as well as small arms ranges and range design engineering, especially pertaining to baffled (safe) small arms ranges; 4) Employing Navy competitive awards system (Distinguished Marksman, Distinguished Pistol Shot, Excellence in Competition Badges, etc.) and Naval Regulations and military customs and procedures, budgetary, and procurement procedures; 5) Instructing others in the performance and proficiency of small arms usage, weapon repair, delivery of weapons and ammunition, and target/range repair on a regular basis.

Physical Demands
Work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as occasionally lifting ammunition up to 110 pounds, standing up to 8 hours a day and running on various combat training courses from 150 yards to two miles.
Work Environment
The work is performed both indoors in an office setting and on indoor and outdoor firing ranges. Is exposed to excessive noise, extremes of temperature and humidity, insects, etc. There is the possibility of injury from being shot or from moving target mechanisms. Works around solvents, corrosive materials, acid materials and vaporous lead dusts. Is required to wear hearing and eye protection. Working hours are irregular to include evenings and weekends. Occasional travel is required.
