The United States Space Force (USSF) at Vandenberg SFB, CA is searching for a Unit Program Coordinator, 2 ROPS (NK-0303-02, GS-5-7 Equivalent).
Description:
Come serve as the Unit Program Coordinator for the 2d Range Operations Squadron at Space Launch Delta 30 - America's premier combat-ready spaceport! Nestled on the beautiful California Central Coast, you will join a team of professionals responsible for executing rapid and resilient range and spaceport operations under an increasing launch cadence, and delivering responsive, adaptive space launch capabilities that guarantee mission success and play a vital role in the test and evaluation of weapon systems that are key to our Nation's security and defense.
You will serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase cards (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, and unit recognition program. You will also serve as a liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues and assist in oversight of organizational manpower resource requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated history of directly assisting senior leadership in the comprehensive management of all administrative support program functions.
- Extensive experience serving as a resident Subject Matter Expert for all mandated administrative support programs, ensuring compliance and providing authoritative guidance.
- Proven experience acting as a primary organizational contact and effective liaison with personnel flights, adeptly managing and resolving military and civilian personnel issues.
- Experience in the planning, administration, and meticulous monitoring of manpower resource requirements to optimize organizational staffing and efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in performing a wide range of essential clerical and administrative duties, consistently contributing to overall office productivity and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
3. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.

- Employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for the position.

- May be subject to recall during other than normal duty hours and may be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
