In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in graphic design and experience working with layout and photo editing programs. Hands-on experience on inĀhouse creation of literature, advertising, posters, brochures, newspaper print, mass newsletter creation, PowerPoint presentations and web. Expected to be versatile and proficient in a wide variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Adobe Acrobat). A bachelor's in fine arts design or related field is desirable but not required. Experience with digital photography and videography is desirable. Experience working with commercial printers is desirable. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading skills are required. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment that is deadline oriented. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining on schedule and organized. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in working and dealing with customers and the general public. Must be able to read, write and speak English. May be required to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
