Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must have one-year (52 weeks) of full-time specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. More specifically, specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience providing specialized expertise in visual communication such as with branding, graphic design, and conceptualizing multimedia content materials; experience designing and producing visual communication materials: (reports, brochures, infographics, promotional materials, publications, and other visual products); experience ensuring work products meet accessibility standards; experience providing visual design recommendations to enhance user experience, navigation, and information delivery on digital platforms, for example website graphics, social media visuals, slide decks, and digital media supporting communication campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
OR:
Undergraduate or Graduate Education (degree): Major study -- commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.

Telework Suitability:
The duties of this position are suitable for occasional telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval and if they meet the eligibility criterion in the 2010 Telework Act.
