Summary
As a Voting Rights Coordinator at the GS-0301-12, you will be part of Merit Sys Accountability and Compliance, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for providing support to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in administering the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, this involves supervising and coordinating the use of observers to be present at elections specified by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Qualifications
For the GS 12: You must have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing ALL of the following duties:
1. Assisting in providing observer coverage for local and state elections;
2. Participating in the negotiation of contracts for public meeting spaces; AND
3. Communicating with individuals from diverse cultural linguistic backgrounds
Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level.
