Duties

Responsible for planning, initiating, and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies in support of a variety of MCCS program functions.  Utilizes multiple communication methods and techniques, to include oral, written, visual, and multimedia for informing the general public about the programs, services, special events and policies sponsored by or affiliated with MCCS operations.  Must have a strong knowledge of using and administering Meta for Business, Facebook Pages, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and WordPress. Must be able to shoot and edit video / photography for posting in real time utilizing an iPhone. Develops and utilizes a variety of marketing plans and concepts designed to enhance awareness and utilization of MCCS facilities and services.

Oversees content, scheduling, and design within brand standards on multiple websites and social media accounts for installations within the region. Participates in public relations activities to produce videography and photography content, as well as manage social media posts for timely event updates for the Division. Comfortable in front of the camera and ability to create engaging video content. Respond to customer service inquiries on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and others, sometimes outside of normal business hours. Provides comprehensive after-action campaign reports to analyze campaign results. Organize and track web / social analytics via a customer experience management platform. Initiates and prepares routine correspondence using a PC / Mac / Smart Phone and various software.  Personally, responds to routine phone and email inquiries.  Implements guidance in local policy and procedures, as well as conduct bi-annual training sessions for media editors.

Provides Extraordinary Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.  Acknowledges customers, smiles, and makes eye contact.  Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems.  Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services.  Takes action to solve problems quickly.  Alerts higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. 

Adheres to safety regulations and standards.  Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. 

Performs other related duties as assigned.

EVALUATIONS:

Qualifications

Minimum of three years related background that demonstrates experience directly related to the above duties.  Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and design concepts. Strong computer and social media skills.  Demonstrated experience in the use of a variety of informational marketing and media methods such as graphic arts, design, illustration, photography, computers, live streaming, etc.  Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Must posse¿s solid organizational and detail-orientated expertise and the ability to handle numerous projects at one time.  Must be able to identify the characteristics of target audiences and determine the most effective, sources, methods, and techniques to use in reaching patrons. Ability to analyze the results of information gathering techniques, surveys, inquiries, etc. to improve upon existing systems.  This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.

 Military Spousal Preference may be requested for positions NF-3 and below, Crafts and Trades (NA, NL, NS), and Child & Youth (CY) positions. Spouses must meet the minimum qualifications posted in the job announcement. Spouse preference eligibility begins 30 days before the reporting date to the new duty location. Spousal Preference applicants hired in a flexible position will not lose their spousal preference eligibility until converted or hired into a regular full-time or part-time position or is within a 60 day period of receiving new PCS Orders.

Required Documents

1.  Furnish a copy of the PCS orders with reporting date to the new duty station and authorized move with spouse. If the spouse is not listed on the PCS orders, the spouse must provide documentation (i.e. marriage certificate, valid military ID, etc.) verifying marriage prior to PCS orders (must have been married to the military sponsor before relocation to the new duty station).
