The duties include but are not limited the following bullets below:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining a large scale IT Infrastructure that consists of over 5000 nodes and networking devices.
- Providing network services for the Clinical Research Information System (CRIS), and Altera Sunrise Clinical Management System (SCM) client-server environments.
- Researching, testing, and evaluating network requirements for projects and supporting Clinical Center healthcare initiatives.
- Deploying network security technologies to enhance information systems security.
- troubleshooting networking issues that impact client-server environments.
- coordinating with vendors and internal and external Department of Clinical Research Informatics customers to resolve network problems.
- Planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades, security upgrades, and policy changes.
- Responding to Clinical Center Customer Requests for changes affecting CC/DCRI network infrastructure.
