Summary

This position is located in the Single Sailor/Liberty Program, Athletics Division, of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) department, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance in operation of the Liberty Center.

How You Will Be Evaluated

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

Your application will be screened for the following minimum qualifications:

  • 6 months general experience and/or 2 years above high school with courses related to the occupation.
  • Current SOFA Sponsorship status. In order to be eligible for this position, applicants must already have SOFA sponsorship and reside within the local commuting area.
Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be further evaluated for:
  • Experience in cash handling and operating cash register
  • Experience with personal computers and basic software (word processing, spreadsheets, emails/internet, etc.
  • Experience in ordering supplies, material requests, marketing requests, and work requests
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of recreational programs and activities.
