Summary
This position is located at the Fitness Branch of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, NAS Sigonella. Incumbent performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Applicants have to be US citizens who are authorized command-sponsored dependents of civilian or military personnel stationed with official Government Orders at US NAS Sigonella, Italy.
ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS are eligible to apply for flexible positions and, if selected, work during their off-duty hours as long as they obtain their Command's written authorization.

Duties
Performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs. Provides necessary services and information to authorized patrons. Ensures adherence to regulations, safety and security procedures. Assists in maintaining routine reports, inventory control and clerical duties. Performs basic custodial and general maintenance tasks. Provides support for recreation events set up and break down. Operates a cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, receives payments and makes change. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment
- Will be required to obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR/First Aid/AED certification, Customer Service Training and MWR Food and Beverage Alcohol Safety Certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and schedule is subject to change and may include working evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Must satisfactorily complete a background investigation (NACI).
- Male candidates born after December 31, 1959, and at least 18 years of age, are required to certify that they have registered with the Selective Service System (Attach proof of registration).
- Military personnel, if selected, must provide PCS Orders to Sigonella and written authorization from their command to work during off-duty hours.
- Civilian candidates must be in possession of No-Fee government passport, Italian mission visa, Sponsor's Orders or Command-sponsorship authorization, and Sojourner's permit or application letter.

Qualification Requirements: Three (3) months of general experience OR high school diploma (or GED).
General experience is (1) any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position.
