Summary

This position is for a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST, PD# D1819000 , part of the Nevada Air National Guard. This position is located in an Air National Guard Aviation Wing, Maintenance Group.The position serves as the Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Division. In that capacity, the supervisor plans, implements, and executes a quality assurance program that includes independent surveillance and evaluations of all assigned aircraft, aircraft components, and maintenance personnel.

--Ability to plan, organize and oversee the activities of the Quality Assurance division and develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and Quality objectives and programs. Ability to establish, revise, and review maintenance policies, procedures, mission objectives.
--Ability to manage the maintenance and inspection effort involved in keeping aircraft in an airworthy - combat readiness state, to include capability to carry out daily flying mission and ensure all maintenance operations are executed safely and in accordance with published guidance.
--Ability to direct, and supervise staff and Quality Assurance functions.
--Ability to develop and execute the Commander Inspection Program and manage critical assessment programs. Ability to represent Maintenance Group Commander and network with NGB (SPO), Counterparts at other ANG bases.
--Knowledge of the Maintenance Standardization Evaluation Program (MSEP). Knowledge of proper data collection techniques and procedures for evaluations and audit programs. Knowledge of the Technical Order Improvement Program. Knowledge of the Weight & Balance program
--Ability to carry out management objectives including labor-management relations, equal employment opportunity, internal controls, safety energy conversation, environment controls and property accountability; ability to devise new methods and improve processes.
