Summary

This position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN, PD# D1180000, part of the Nevada Army National Guard. The purpose of the position is to develop training and safety plans and procedures for the command. Provides staff planning and assistance to insure that required training, safety and readiness objectives are achieved and mobilization planning requirements are accomplished.

-- Working knowledge of the Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) program.

-- Knowledge of reading, understanding, and interpreting Army regulations and guidance.

-- Working knowledge of the Army drivers training program and able to provide inspection assistance from the state level to units and battalions.

-- Working knowledge of the TS-MATS tracking system as well as RFMSS scheduling and fire desk operations.

-- Has ability to review range documents such as Concept of Operations Plans (CONOPs), Deliberate Risk Assessment Worksheets (DRAWs), Surface Danger Zones (SDZs), and other range requirements.

-- Ability to track, update, review and schedule multiple activities between different government agencies.
