This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: registration as a Professional Architect in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any state in the United States.
NOTE: YOU MUST ATTACH A COPY OF YOUR PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECT REGISTRATION TO YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
In addition to the selective placement factor and basic requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
- Planning and designing substantial new construction, renovation, and improvement projects on real property facilities.
- Providing guidance to architects and engineers on complex architectural problems.
- Administering large-scale architectural/engineering projects so to ensure compliance with applicable objectives, standards, and requirements.
- Developing techniques to solve complex architectural problems.
