Summary

In addition to salary, applicant could receive a monthly incentive based on financial results that meet or exceed budgeted percentages for Labor and Cost of Goods sold. Also, an annual incentive, evaluated at the end of the Fiscal Year, can be realized dependent upon achieving a 2% over budgeted Gross Sales.

Duties

Assists in the management of a large, high volume, Name Brand Casual Dining (NBCD) franchise restaurant. Assists in the oversight of all restaurant systems and is responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of all products in a timely manner and according to established recipes and procedures. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales. Maintains budgeted food and service labor costs and proper inventories. Formulates instructions and gives direction necessary to operate a fluid, and efficient food production operation. Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items. As a second level supervisor, reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors and employees.

Conducts management review of patron food production programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.

Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.

Work experience managing, directing or assisting in the management of the activities of a full service, high volume, Name Brand Casual Dining franchise style restaurant (not fast food). Minimum one year experience as an Asst. Manager or Key Hourly Supervisor of a full service, high volume, NBCD franchise restaurant.

All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education. Those applicants determined to be highly qualified will be referred to the hiring official for consideration. The highly qualified candidates may undergo an interview and reference checks.

Possess a minimum of 2 years experience managing, assisting or served as a "Key" of a Name Brand Casual Dining restaurant and supervised 30-50+ employees. Or, possess 1 year experience as a Texas Roadhouse Assistant Manager or "Key" employee.

Possess a Texas Roadhouse Manager in Training (MIT) certificate or a peer/competitor equivalent certificate.

If selected, you will be required to complete five (5) months of Texas Roadhouse Manager in Training (MIT) training to be at a location specified by Texas Roadhouse. Training and travel expenses will be paid or compensated under temporary duty status for employee only.y.
