Basic Requirement for Assistant Dean of Academics (Bilingual):
REQUIREMENTS FOR DEAN OF ACADEMICS: You MUST possess a DOCTORATE DEGREE from a regionally accredited college or university in an appropriate field supportive of the position.(

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes leading an education department or program at the Federal or State level; Leading a curriculum development or curriculum integration department in a military school; Instructing in a military school.
Selective Placement Factor: This position requires the incumbent to read, write and speak in both Spanish and English,
fluently.
If you are currently serving on active duty: You
must submit a certification from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active-duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions not later than 120 days after the date the certification is submitted for consideration in the hiring process. The certification
must show the characterization of your discharge (Honorable, General, etc.). Prior to appointment, the service member's character of service and qualifying discharge or release must be verified through a DD Form 214 or equivalent documentation.
