Your resume and the online assessment questionnaire will be reviewed to determine whether you meet the qualification requirements outlined in this announcement. Therefore, it is imperative that your resume contain sufficiently detailed information upon which to make the qualification determination. If you are found qualified, you will be placed in one of three categories: Best Qualified, Highly Qualified, or Qualified. These category assignments are a measure of the degree in which your background and responses to the assessment questions match the competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) listed below. Within these categories, candidates eligible for veterans’ preference will receive selection priority over non-veterans.
1. Knowledge in the areas of leadership and management curriculum development including training methodology, instructional systems, leadership assessments, tests and measurements, instructor development and course implementation sufficient to provide guidance to employees, other faculty members, team leads, and supervisors in the transformation of their organization.
2. Skill in teaching adult learners using simulation, action learning and student engagement.
3. Knowledge in leadership, management, and organizational behavior disciplines in understanding and applying theories and practice in a corporate environment.
4. Ability to organize work and provide work products.
5. Knowledge of assessment instruments and formulation of professional development plans.
6. Skill in identifying and evaluating alternative training and education program approaches and techniques.
7. Ability to develop written reports and make presentations to relate findings and recommendations and identify problems to a supervisory-level audience.
8. Knowledge of leader competencies; problem solving, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, communication, values, leading change, influence, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, developing others, and vision.
9. Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external clients.
You do not need to respond separately to these KSAs. Your answers to the online questionnaire and resume will serve as responses to the KSAs.
